This qualification is designed for learners who want the knowledge and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects. Learn about how behaviour can be perceived as challenging and discover the underlying issues that affect behaviour. This qualification is suitable for those who work with, or are intending to with, vulnerable adults. children and young people in the health and social care or healthcare sector.

This qualification is recognised by Awarding Body, it is also approved and regulated by Ofqual (Office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) .

Learners must achieve a total of 16 credits from the four mandatory units to achieve the Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Dignity and Safeguarding in Adult Health and Social Care (RQF).
The total Guided Learning Hours (GLH) for this qualification is 145 hours. The Total
Qualification Time (TQT) for the qualification is 160 hours. It can be completed in 8-12 weeks.

• Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Autism

  • Entry requirement:

    • Learner must be aged 16 or over to be on the course.


    Method of Assessment:
    This qualification is internally assessed and quality assured by Centre staff then externally quality assured. This is a knowledge base qualification.

    Knowledge evidence includes but not limited to written work completed then submitted online via the e-portfolio system, assignment tasks and where possible reports from work can also be provided while considering GDPR as part of assessment.

    To achieve a ‘pass’ for a unit, you must provide evidence to demonstrate that you have fulfilled all the learning outcomes and meet the standards specified by all assessment criteria. Judgement that you have successfully fulfilled the assessment criteria is made by your allocated Assessor.
